Our little town now has a Helipad for Lifeflight landings! We went to the first landing/grand opening and watched it land, took a close look and even played on the Firetruck!

Day 14: Play Ball

Play Ball:
I figured since I am playing catch up from a house full of sickness I'd use a couple past pics. Both C and E played T-ball this year and had a super time. Actually mommy and daddy ended up having to assist the coach and had a pretty good time too. We already knew we have a couple of real competitors- sheesh!

Day 11: We will survive!

It has been a long week already. Lexi came down with fever/cold symptoms Tuesday, Elyse on Wednesday, Mom on Thursday and Christian on Friday. The fever has been CONSTANT with no breaking. Last night Elyse also ran a high fever of 104 that we could not break for a long time. Today we called the on call Pediatrician as recommended by our Pedit the day before because of Lexi's lengthy fever. They wanted us to bring the girls up. Of course Christian is in the worst of it (and myself) but we will survive. About all I can muster is a pic of the CMercy papers! :)

Day 9: Wii love it!

Christian saved every penny for months (literally every penny he could squander) toward a Wii. Elyse even helped him out some. Then for his 6th birthday his response when anyone asked what he wanted was 'money so I can put it toward my Wii'. At that point he had actually collected enough for the Wii from saving and $48 he and Elyse made at their Lemonade Stand but he knew that the games and accessories would be expensive too. He even opted to wait to purchase because he knew if his grandpa or uncle or someone who worked at wal-mart bought it for him he'd save the extra 10%. His amazing little brain knew that would pay for tax +. Wii have had a great time with it already. :)

Day 8: Perspective

Perspective: Lexi loves to play peek a boo and was enjoying it through the door of Elyse's doll house, seemed like a great shot. Looks a bit king kongish!

Day 7: Fresh Veggies

Fresh Veggies: My kids LOVE them. Daddy came home with fresh cucumbers the other day and the next thing we knew Lexi was walking around chewing on one like a candy bar. Elyse of course had to join in! No ranch necessary!

Day 6: First Day in the Big Gym

First Day at the big gym for Christian today. He loved it. It was very different than what they've been used to. Many more kids, more than one coach and DEFINITELY new things to learn. That's his great bridge though in the middle (looks like a pro!)

Day 5: In Awe...

The kids LOVED the parade, as usual. Fun times. I really liked this picture with all three looking in awe at the military vehicle. Speechless (and that doesnt happen often around here!)

Day 3: The Light(er) Side...

This picture just cracked me up. We were taking a lot of snapshots to complete Christian's Star Wars birthday thank you's (I like to order pictures- 4x6- and send as postcards). They decided to have Elyse lay down and Christian get her with his lightsaber. Notice her strategically placed red lightsaber (the dark side) and BOTH of their eyes shut tightly as if to avoid seeing the result! LOL
